Yes we do. From small, home office based companies, to medium sized organisations, we provide a variety of business specific IT support services. Whether you run a Microsoft, Apple or Linux based system, we provide top-notch technical assistance.
We've worked closely with newly formed organisations to implement complete computer networks - encompassing servers and networking equipment to provide file storage, email and remote access. Tying this in with cabling works and web design, we are a 'one stop shop' for getting your business' IT up and running. We don't insist on Microsoft either - if you are interested in saving money, while still having a fully featured computer network, ask us about our open source server solutions.
With established organisations, the process starts with an audit of the existing systems that are in place. We carry out these audits free of charge with no obligation to use our services once this is completed. On reviewing an audit, we will make suggestions on how the existing infrastructure can be improved - along with a competetive quotation for carrying out the work.
Unlike other IT consultancies we do not tie you into a long term contract - the charges are exactly the same for business and home users. Just as with home users, we do not charge for technical support provided over the telephone or by email. If a problem can be resolved remotely, there is often no charge. If we need to come on site, at £40/ph we offer some of the most competetive rates in the industry.
If you need a wireless network configured for your business, or are considering adding more file storage - we will happily provide a variety of options with fixed quotations.

We use open source operating system software (almost) exclusively within our organisation. All of our desktop computers (and servers) run Ubuntu Linux.

In addition, we use Open Office as our primary document writing and spreadsheet tool. Version 3 (available here) can read and write Microsoft's new 'x' formats (like xlsx and docx) so its perfect for daily use.

For email, we use Mozilla Thunderbird on the desktop, and Postfix and Dovecot (as built into Ubuntu) on the server side.
If you want to find out how you can save thousands of pounds on software licensing fees, contact us for more information on free web, email and file servers. You can find more about the benefits of Ubuntu Desktop here. There is a plethora of information about the Ubuntu Server here. We also provide support services for interworking with Microsoft and Apple systems.
