How much do you charge?

There is no charge for any help we provide over the telephone or by email (for business or home customers). That means you get top notch advice free of charge whenever you need it. Call our free computer helpline on 0800 7879 258 to see if we can talk you through the problem.

If we have to visit you, we charge £20 for the first half hour. From then on, we charge £40 per hour. It's often cheaper for us to take your computer away to fix it. If we do have to do this, the most you will ever pay (excluding parts) is £100. Often, it's much less.

For all our work we can offer written quotations at no charge. We will never charge more than we have quoted you, even if the job takes longer than we expected.

All the prices below (for home and business customers) include all necessary taxes.

Here are some common jobs we do, with their respective prices:

Reinstallation of operating system (including transferring any existing data, excluding hardware): £50

Replacement of a faulty hard drive (including copying of existing data where possible): £65

Virus Removal (even if you have multiple viruses): £50

Upgrade installation (additional memory, graphics cards or hard drives):£20

Business Services
Prices do vary for business services. However, a simple file and email server generally costs £100 to install and configure. Server prices start from £229. Network connection points can be installed from £40 a point. Upgrades and repair work are charged at the same rate as those for home users.

A Basic 8 user Server/PC Configuration
If you need a small server set up for your business, this is what you can expect to pay:
